On Wednesday night under a Waxing Gibbous Moon, Year 7 enjoyed an evening of star-gazing. Mr Adams shared his wealth of astronomy knowledge with the students and they had the opportunity to count the moons of Saturn through his professional telescope. They were very excited to see Saturn’s rings and our Moon’s many craters. Year 7 were the perfect astronomers on the night; full of excitement and wonder. Mr Byrnes, Miss Black and all of Year 7 would like to say a very big thank you to Mr Adams for taking the time to share his love of the skies.
