On the 30th April-4th May our wonderful Year 6 students ventured on a fabulous excursion of discovery to our nation’s capital and Australia’s largest city. This predominantly educational tour focused on our Year 6 unit: Becoming a Nation. Being involved on the tour enabled the students to participate in a variety of educational programs relating to Australia’s cultural, history and democracy. All of which enhanced their class experiences.
The students’ exceptional behaviour should be noted. Along with this, the outstanding personal growth and goal setting each Year 6 student achieved. What wonderful ambassadors they were for our college.
A special mention must also go to our wonderful staff members, Miss Kristy-Lee Eagleton and Ms Michaela Hanson, for their outstanding support and contributions on this excursion.
