The Student Representative Council is comprised of representatives across Years Three to Twelve. Students on the Council are provided with opportunities to become active citizens while addressing the interests of the student body.
The Student Representative Council encourages students to develop team building and leadership skills as well as organise ways for students to participate in College life. The Council is responsible for organising school fun days and charity events. Students enjoy themed dress up days, barbeques, raffles and special guests. These events raise money for worthy causes and foster community school spirit.
Causes that the Student Representative Council has raised awareness for include the Leukaemia Foundation Tatts and Tiaras Day, the Child Safety Awareness Day for Daniel, the Animal Welfare League Food Drive, Jump Rope for Life, the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea and Operation Christmas Child. These events allow students to broaden their knowledge and understanding of local, national and global concerns whilst making positive contributions to the issues.
