A very big thank you from Oz Harvest Gold Coast to all the TMC families that contributed to the Christmas Appeal Food Drive for 2024!
TMC donated approximately 55 boxes of non-perishable food items which will go a long way to help families in need over the Christmas period.
Thank you to all families that contributed and big thank you to the secondary Student Representative Council and the Certificate II in Active Volunteering students for their help collecting from classrooms and packing all the boxes.

New Payment Platform Via Parent Lounge in 2025
Dear Parent/s & Guardian/s
We are excited to announce that TMC will implement a new and improved payment platform to pay your child/ren's school fees via direct debit in Parent Lounge.
This new payment system will take effect from 1st January 2025.
It is a paperless, secure payment system within Parent Lounge, which will allow you to set up a payment arrangement that is most convenient for your family.
There are various payment options such as credit/debit cards, bank account or both, as well as more flexibility with the frequency and days the payment will be debited. The system will also include improved communication, advising you of upcoming payment dates and amounts.
We believe this system will provide greater flexibility and convenience for our College families.
An email with further information and instructions on how to set this up will be sent in the coming weeks.
TMC Leaders Make a Difference by Hannah Woods
As the Christmas season approaches, the spirit of giving fills the air. This time of the year is often filled with joy, family and celebrations. But for many children, especially those in foster care the holiday season can be a reminder of the instability and uncertainty they may face. However, through the efforts of the 2025 leadership team and the Year 11 cohort, we aspire to bring a sense of belonging to these children, through the creation of donation boxes to provide essential items, toys, art supplies and much more, hoping to make their holiday season a little brighter.
Children in foster care are often removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or other difficult circumstances. While foster care provides them with safety, stability and care, many children experience emotional and psychological trauma as a result of their sitution. However they may enter foster care with very little belongings. The holidays can be especially tough for these children, who may feel isolated or abandoned. They may not receive presents or have the opportunity to experience the warmth and traditions that others take for granted. We reached out to Anglicare Nerang, an organisation that advocates for the vulnerable to allow them to live their lives to the fullest. They were more than happy to accept the donations and distribute them to the children in need.
This Christmas, lets not forgot the children who are facing difficult circumstances in foster care. The impact of these small acts of kindness can be far reachering, reminding these chuldren that they are seen, cared for, and valued. Together, we can ensure that every child, regardless if theur circumstances, feels the warm and joy of the christmas season.
Last Friday night saw the culmination of the TMC Year 12 students' High School journey with the 2024 Formal. It was a lovely evening held at SeaWorld with students, parents and staff of TMC celebrating the achievements of these brilliant, young adults. I would like to make a few special mentions; thank you to Mr Andrews for the organisation of the evening and a huge thank you to Mrs Olivier for organising the photography. It was a wonderful way for the students to put a full stop on their time at TMC, although I have no doubt that it will have created memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Congratulations James and Joshua!
Congratulations to James and Joshua from year 11 on the completion of their Certificate II in Creative Industries through Ivet.
James and Joshua have worked hard all year to complete this certificate alongside their year 11 studies. Both James and Joshua have a keen interest in art and enjoyed the creative side of the study.

Pre-Prep’s Celebration of Learning Concert
This week, the Pre-Prep children marked an exciting milestone on their journey to ‘Big School’ with our Celebration of Learning Graduation. The event brought together our wonderful community including Mr and Mrs Stevens, parents, friends, and staff who all gathered to honor the children’s achievements.
The celebration began with Primary College Captains Faryn and Liam leading the Wattle and Lilly Pilly classes into the hall. The children captivated the audience with an enchanting program of songs they had learned during music and French classes throughout the year.
Pre Prep gave heartfelt performances of special songs: Wattle sang Cover Me in Sunshine with concentration as they signed the words, while Lilly Pilly energetically delivered We Are on Our Way—a fitting anthem for this memorable occasion.
After the concert, families joined together at the Early Learning Centre to share a graduation cake and celebrate this significant milestone. We are so grateful to all the families who attended, our leaders, and teachers who have supported the children as they take this exciting step toward Prep.
Congratulations to our Pre-Prep graduates—we can’t wait to see all that you will achieve in ‘Big School’!
On Sunday, some of our Primary and Secondary students entered artworks into the Tamborine Mountain Artisan Fayre. Our Year 2 students’ Pete Cromer-inspired artworks looked vibrant and full of character, showcasing their creativity and attention to detail. In the Secondary section, Shae L proudly took out third place, Portia T claimed second place, and Koby B secured first place.
Congratulations to all our talented students on their fantastic achievements!
