To obtain a greater understanding of Indigenous Art and perspectives, year 10 Art students participated in a morning of making Indigenous Art with Tamborine Mountain local Indigenous artist Russell Smith. Students learnt about iconography and the symbols used in Indigenous Art as well as aerial perspective and colour theory. They explored the differences in arts between states and territories and Torres Strait Islander art and looked at Indigenous Australian art as fashion.
