On Sunday the 9th of July, Fynn Lesslie in Year 2, raced in the annual Scot’s Boys College race. This race was made up predominantly of children from NSW and from schools that have snow sports excellence programs. This race was open to a wide range of competitors and the level of competition was incredibly high.

Fynn was one of the only children from Queensland in the entire competition and was the only competitor from Queensland, across all of the divisions, to take out a gold medal position.

Fynn’s success can only be attributed to all of his hard work and training. He trains 8 hours a day in -11 degree temperatures and his drive and determination are amazing for a child who is only 7years old.
