This year, Tamborine Mountain College has its first official competitor in the NSW Interschool Snow Sports Championships.
In July, Fynn Lesslie, a Year 2 student at TMC, will be competing in this year’s Snow Championships, which are held on Mount Perisher. Fynn will be one of the youngest competitors, at just 7 years of age.
Fynn has been snowboarding since the age of 5 and instantly showed a natural talent for the sport. Since then, he has undergone many months of intensive training during the snow seasons, to develop his skills even further. Last year, Fynn was approached by one of the representatives affiliated with the Snow Sports and was invited to compete in this year’s championships.
Both Fynn and his family are grateful for the support the school has given.
Fynn is very proud to be representing Tamborine Mountain College in the sport of snowboarding. One of TMC’s unique qualities is the fact that the school supports such a diverse range of sports. Not only that, but the fact that Tamborine Mountain College will support their athletes on their paths to success.
