Term 1 Week 2

What a fantastic start to the year. Secondary and primary students have settled in well and I am so proud of our complete campus Prep – 12.

The highlight of this week at secondary level was the House Swimming Carnival. Congratulations to all who participated and of course to Kyle for winning the Melbourne Cup –  House Trophy. It was a pleasure to see College students in TMC swimwear – they looked so professional. It was also wonderful to see parent supporters on the day. HIA Swim Carnival for our swimming champions is on next week in competition with Kooralbyn and Hills Colleges.

Primary has its House Swimming Carnival next Friday  so we will see which House takes out the Melbourne Cup then!

The highlight for Primary this week was the Presentation Assembly with Mr Stevens this morning for Yr 6 Leaders. Congratulations to Captains and House Captains – I am sure they will uphold College values and again it was wonderful to see parents at this presentation.

The first P&F Meeting for the year was held on Thursday with a fantastic turnout. Leigh Bartlett, the President, welcomed all the attendees. If you would like to get involved in the P&F, please contact the Office. That night we also welcomed families to meet teachers.

As you are aware we have our 20 Year Anniversary Fair coming up – 21st February from 12 noon – 4pm. Please come with family and friends – it will be a great day with food and fun. The official ceremony is at 12 noon so don’t miss it! Teachers have selected students to assist on the day so they will be required in full College uniform. There will also be TMC Alumni Happy Hour 4pm – 5pm so tell any past student to come along.
