Prep to Year 2 at Tamborine Mountain College is a full time, five days a week program. The program offers a complete experience using play to provide active, experience based learning.
All students entering the Prep year must turn five by 30 June of that year.
Prep to Year 2 at Tamborine Mountain College provides opportunities in learning environments that support learning for young children through:

The Tamborine Mountain College Prep to Year 2 Program is a hands-on, discovery based course designed to stimulate children’s interests in a wide range of areas. Through social interaction and participation in activities suited to their needs, children enhance their emotional, social and intellectual growth.
Prep to Year 2 contributes to the continuing growth of young children’s knowledge and understanding of themselves and the world around them. Learning and play experiences create an awareness of the changing world and foster positive personal and social attitudes. Opportunities are also provided for the development of healthy living habits and creativity.
