On Wednesday night the junior and intermediate debating teams competed in round three of the Gold Coast secondary schools debating competition.
This round was a secret debate, so the students did not know the topic until they arrived at the venue and only had 90 minutes to prepare their arguments.
The junior teams debated about whether it was better to have exams or assignments and the intermediate team argued that today’s young people are too egocentric.
Congratulations to the junior A team and the intermediate team who were both victorious. The adjudicators were very impressed with the confidence of all our speakers.
