[Photos Inside] On Wednesday 18th November Year 4, along with myself, Mr Guymer, Mr Moore and Mr Farah, visited the Beenleigh Historical Village. The educational village offered students fun, interactive and hands on demonstrations of what life was like for early Australians. The students were able to experience what schooling was like many years ago, how people used to do their washing and how tough life was for a wood chopper. We also wondered through the different buildings and sheds, viewing the extensive collection of exhibits. There were various artefacts, memorabilia, ornaments, old bottles, tools and furnishings for the students to see. It was a wonderful excursion with lots of fun had by all.
